Reich Insurance Brokers of Manchester Acquires New Broker, D Barnett Insurance

Reich Insurance, one of the UK’s premier independent insurance brokers, just announced that it has completed the acquisition of D Barnett Insurance Brokers Limited, the largest independent insurance broker in Bolton. Completed today, the acquisition will bring the combined gross premium income of the Reich group of companies close to £70 million per annum.

Situated in Bolton, D Barnett Insurance Brokers has been placing insurance business on behalf of commercial and private clients since 1985. Barnett Insurance currently employs 17 people, who will be offered the opportunity to be integrated into the Reich Insurance company.

Reich Insurance caters for all aspects of commercial and personal insurances and is one of the largest brokers with a specialism in the Property Investors’ Insurance market outside London. The acquisition of D Barnett will constitute a valuable addition to Reich’s book of business.
